  • Aaron Wentzel - MCP, MCAD

    Aaron is managing consultant/partner specializing in design and architecture. Aaron began his passion in the technology industry where he worked as a property accountant for Con-Way Inc. With a Business Degree in MIS/Accounting, Aaron moved to Seattle to pursue a software developer career for SAFECO Claims Systems. He worked on Compass Virtual Office Document Processing and Claims Assignment while practicing SDLC fundamentals and sound software methodologies. Aaron began desiring to learn and achieve more faster so he started his own consultancy. As a developer on .NET (beta) and consultant at Microsoft Aaron enjoyed working on various rewarding .NET teams including lead architect for beta.visualstudio.net, developer on GotDotNet, Common Language Runtime, and Visual Studio.NET. Aaron has designed many integral business systems. At Solucient he helped design a business intelligence system to process, validate and report on electronic discharge data for out-patient records. Soon after he moved on to architect the back-end box office ticketing system for Seattle International Film Festival which was such a success it's now used nationally by other Film Festivals and has been bug free for two years and running. Aaron has continued to be an early adopter of technologies allowing him the ability to select very specific challenging opportunities to develop expert software solutions. Through sound business knowledge, technical expertise, management, communication skills and thirst for knowledge Aaron continues to be a strong management consultant and maintain his experience in the latest trends, methodologies and technologies.

  • Jan Vandenbos - CISSP, ISSMP

    Jan is currently a principal consultant focused on providing innovation, technology road mapping and risk management services to clientele throughout the world. Jan spent time launching a privacy product at Dategrity and was a Security Architect at Microsoft where he owned the internal Data Protection (Data at Rest, Data in Flight, Data Destruction) efforts as well as providing: threat and risk analysis; and enterprise risk assessments to IT executive management regarding the protection of Microsoft's digital assets. Jan is often requested for consulting on information security strategy and sharing best practices in security management principles with key companies and has presented in many Microsoft executive briefings. At an early age, Jan combined his interest in computer technology with his entrepreneurial skills and started his first company, consulting on infrastructure and security for enterprises, law enforcement, and law firms. Later, Jan served in strategic roles in security, IT, telecom, and Internet and e-commerce technologies for companies he started as well as other regional and national businesses. Jan currently serves on the boards of two technology organizations, and has earned his Certified Information Systems Professional, Information Systems Security Management Professional, and Certified Privacy qualifications. Jan is a 20+ year active fire fighter and EMT in Duvall Washington.

  • Tony Noblett - CISSP, CISA

    Tony has spent the last six years consulting with enterprises large and small on IT Security and Regulatory Compliance for GLBA, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley. He was one of two principal authors of the Microsoft Regulatory Compliance Planning Guide published in 2006. Additionally he has provided consulting on IT security and regulatory compliance to EMC2 on identification and prioritization of IT security risk mitigation. At Microsoft he is working with several security groups to develop and optimize security processes for code review. This experience in assessment of IT security compliance has led to products providing business process for security, policy development for security, security road mapping, and global regulatory compliance. Tony has over twenty years experience with professional services, process engineering, engineering management, technology marketing, and technical consulting with Microsoft, EMC2, Alcoa, Boeing, Martin Marietta, Honeywell, Maxoptics, IBM, CH2M Hill, and Coors.

    In addition, he has worked with start-ups and early-stage companies; Mountain Optech, Irvine Sensors, TechSearch International, Farragut Systems, Coalfire Systems and Secure Logistix/Manakoa Services Corp. He has extensive experience in systems integration with Microsoft products including SharePoint Products and Technologies, ASP.NET, InfoPath 2003, and Office 2003 integration. Tony holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, a MBA from Seattle University, and a MS in IT from Regis University as well as the CISSP and CISA certification. Tony is a retired fire fighter, EMT, and former fire chief.

  • Gordon Smith - MCP, MCSD, MCTS

    Gordon is a Managing Consultant specializing in Database Architecture and Business Intelligence Design. Gordon has been able to combine his passion for logic with his profession to compile a resume of clients that span from small internet start-ups to the largest Telecommunications and Software companies in the world. He has designed all aspects of professional database solutions on all the major database programs, including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. When 'Data Warehousing' and 'Data Mining' became the latest catch phrases in IT, Gordon was with the vanguard of database professionals designing and implementing data management solutions that were not only resilient to the rigors of automated data processing, but were extremely flexible and provided decision makers with tools they could use to scour their company’s data quickly and accurately. Now that 'Business Intelligence' is the latest craze, Gordon's experience in acquiring, processing, and packaging disparate data sources into cohesive data warehouses allows him to offer clients' unique insight into how a company can use the myriad of data available to make educated decisions that save their companies time and money. His extensive experience working with decision makers also provides him an innate understanding of what data is important to a business and how this data can best be packaged and presented.
